Will alternate energy sources for automobiles will help reduce pollution?
take in account the by-products of used batteries….
Answer especially for battery driven vehicles and bio-diesel….excepting hydrogen powered vehicles as i have come to know that hydrogen separation itself is a environment-degrading process….

Considering the aspects of solar powered cars as non-feasible in today’s economy, bio-diesel is a renewable resource as fossil fuels are not. Given diesels are particulate polluters and generate less emissions, overall, bio-diesels are favored as pollution reducers. If ultra-cyclonic exhausts(expensive) are utilized, particulate emissions are next to nil.
