POLL! Alternate Energy Source?

What are the pro’s and cons of alternate energy sources such as Wind power, Tidal power and Solar power? If you could back up your answer with quotes, it would be much apprectiated! (Although, your opinion is fine too. ;) )

the pros and cons, of Alternative Energy Sources!

well let us start with the old sun, our good friend Aries
pro: the solar panels if making electricity are currently not known to wear out, the original ones are over 50 years of age and still working real good. The power is cheap, and basically free once the panels are paid for

con: the panels can be broken by rough handling or by hail, they don’t work in darkness every well, you need a certain amount of light (in hours) for them to be cost effective, you can’t store power unless you have a battery,

wind power: free, inexpensive for the most part,
con: no all areas have suffient wind speed and volume to turn a windturbine. Laminar air flow wind turbines operate in verylight winds, but they are not cheap

tidal power, pros, very cost effective
    cons: very costly to build

    some quotes
churchill, "sometimes men will stumble over the truth. Usually they pick themselves up, dust themselves off and continue as though nothing happened.

another from Churchill, "Maddam, you are ugly. In the morning, I will be sober, but you will still be ugly.

and one more (the woman has just told churchill that if she was married to him, she would poison his tea: Maddam, If I were your husband, I would drink it!

    opinions:

everyone has one, but like feet they come in pairs

you’re not from around here, are ya!

it really is who wins or loses, screw how the game is played

I hope this helps you out

  2. I recently started developing my own solar panels – I utilized some video guides I discovered and it’s working out great!
