How would a Zombie Virus work?
In the Resident Evil game canon, the T-Virus causes reanimation by replacing the mitochondria of cells, providing an alternate source of energy for dead tissue while repairing said tissue. How close of an explanation can modern science give to viruses creating zombies in fiction?
For that matter, how possible is it that a "Rage Virus" such as in 28 Days Later could evolve?
