How EM radiation alternates for single photon?
How does EM radiation propogate? Does the energy alternate between the electric and magnetic wave or is carried along both simultaenously. So when a single photon propogates, will it show up as e-m-e-m-e-m i.e. half electric wave followed by half magnetic followed by electric…or does it show up as simultaneous electric and magnetic wave with 50% energy in each component?
