Geo thermal If everyone had it would reduce our demand for heating energy?

Specifically I am talking of some form of piping, tubing etc. Or any means you can suggest for transferring heat that is in the earth stored in the mass that we live on. We must seek alternate means this gives us the consumer more control over our life. Yes we have a lot of energy in various forms which companies ,countries control. Which they sell to us at a good profit.

  1. In theory such a solution only requires energy to move the heat into or out of the ground and this should be less then the actual heat energy being moved so we wouldn’t use as much energy from other sources to provide heating or cooling. In terms of what we demand, well we demand that our homes be comfortable and that’s the same amount of heat regardless of source, it’s just that with geothermal loops, that heat is just moved from the ground into our homes rather than having energy directly converted into heat.

Consumers have always had control over their lives because we have the choice of doing without or providing our own. People lived for millenniums before power companies existed and power companies would not exist without customers. Conspiracy theories are just feeble attempts to shift blame and avoid responsibility for one’s own decisions. Besides, more efficient geothermal loops only reduce our dependence on centralized power generation and distribution, to really be self-sufficient you need to generate your own power i.e.: solar, wind, micro hydro…

The only conspiracy theory that I will subscribe to is that things are being done for a profit.
