Energy Crisis in the U.S. (two questions)?

May 15th, 2012 admin Posted in Uncategorized 1 Comment »

1. Write a fully developed paragraph (details, facts) about the energy crisis facing the U.S. Think in terms of peak (supply), consumption (demand), and alternate sources of energy.

2. Using your current knowledge about the energy crisis, write a fully developed paragraph on how the U.S. should deal with this crisis. Remember, one solution will not be enough.

Thank you for your help. If you only know the answer to one, you can only answer one if you like. Just make sure to note which one is which.
Please help me with this ASAP. I really need help! ?Thank you so much.?

Which renewable energy form has the least amount of negative impact on the envioronment?

May 11th, 2012 admin Posted in Uncategorized 1 Comment »

Solar is nice, but how much energy & chemicals are used to make the solar panels.
Geothermal is nice too, except along with the steam comes the other nasty byproducts that come up with the steam, depending upon where the steam is coming from.
Wind is nice too, but what about the cost, energy & materials used to make a single 50 kilowatt turbine.
Ocean-thermal is nice too, but vulnerable to storms & needs to be degunked often. (the U of Hawaii attempted OTECH many years ago to test its viability & pitfalls).

All the alternate energy solutions require components that are not necessarily conscientiously green friendly.

attempts to turn them back on at the same time …isn’t the best case scenario purchasing energy from an alternate source at very high prices and the worst case scenario something we don’t want to discuss?

Do you think our evolution has reached a plateau with respect to humanity and greed?

May 10th, 2012 admin Posted in Uncategorized 1 Comment »

Now large corporations control our governments and control what we are capable of doing. There is more technology devoted to designing weapons than cures for disease. We have the ability to feed the world but food is used instead as a tool to control people and population.

New discoveries for alternate energies are not developed so profits continue from fossil fuels. The smartest and best qualified are not our leaders; instead is is those in power.
